Inspired by the visualization work of W.E.B. Du Bois, this exhibit is designed as a showcase of visualizations (both physical and digital) that are either modern extensions of Du Bois’ work or products of original scholarship around racial equity and justice.

About The Event
Inspired by the visualization work of W.E.B. Du Bois, this event is designed as a showcase of visualizations (both physical and digital) that are either modern extensions of Du Bois’ work or products of original scholarship around racial equity and justice. The top ten submissions will be awarded $300 each, and select contributors will also be invited to present their work at the week's Coffee and Viz. Submissions are due by end-of-day September 30, 2021.
The exhibit will be open to visit throughout GIS Week and beyond. A digital version of the exhibit will also be made available for those that are not able to visit in person!
